I am a visiting ELLIS PhD candidate at the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT), where I work on robot learning, with a focus on foundation models for robotics, under the supervision of Prof. Luc Van Gool and Dr. Danda Paudel.
I am also a PhD candidate in the Robotics Research Group at KU Leuven, where I have the pleasure of working with Prof. Renaud Detry. My research explores robot perception and control, starting from traditional methods such as SLAM and optimization-based planning. Recently, I have been focusing on data-driven approaches to perception and control.
